Complete group presentations in English Lit.  Begin working on class rubric for assignments and projects.  This will be facilitated by Mrs. Wright.


Students in Healthcare will begin working on rubric for assignments and projects.  The class will also continue their study on Anorexia Nervosa.  They will research what populations, ages and races this condition affects.  Mrs. Wright will facilitate and make class assignments.


The World History class will put together a rubric for class assignments and projects.  We will continue to study the evolution of television.

Group Presentations in English Lit will begin on Selma, Hurricane Katrina and March on Washington.  Classmates will be allowed to give constructive feedback and rate each other's projects.  Mrs. Wright will facilitate with assistance of Ms. Plato.

The healthcare class will review and grade each other's assignments on Anorexia and Obesity.  Students will be allowed to discuss and ask questions.


Students in World History will continue studying the evolution of the television (which will include black and white, color, cable TV and satellite television).  Mrs. Wright will present short videos as an introduction to the aforementioned topics.  The class will be asked to do a timeline of this invention.

The English Lit class will practice and prepare for presentations on Tuesday and Wednesday on Selma, March on Washington and Hurricane Katrina.  Postponed due to school being out Tuesday through Thursday of last week.   Mrs. Wright and Ms. Plato, facilitators.

The class also begin reading and studying the next O'Henry short story.

The Healthcare class will complete assignments on Anorexia and Obesity.  On Tuesday the class will review the assignments and grade each other's paper.

Students in World History we prepare for presentations during the week on the evolution of the computer.

The English Lit class will finish up working on study guide for test on Madison Square Garden Arabian Night.


Mrs. Wright will take students to Target for Community Based Instruction (CBI).  Students will have prepared their own budget and list to purchase items for their first apartment.


The World History class will wrap up group presentations on the computer.

Completion of English Lit presentations.  Presentations will be posted.

Students will continue to work on assignments in English Lit for Madison Square Arabian Night which will include the class making up their own study guide to prepare for a test.  Mrs. Wright will facilitate assignment.

The World History class will complete group presentations on the history of the computer for presentation.

The English Lit class will complete working on group presentations in preparation for presenting on Tuesday and Wednesday.   Postponed due to being out of school (2) days and class alterations.  Mrs. Wright and Ms. Plato will continue to help and facilitate.

The English Lit class will review the O'Henry story "Madison Square Arabian Nights."  Students will work on selecting a paragraph and rewriting it using thesaurus.com.


Students in Healthcare class will complete assignment on obesity, normal weight, and anorexia.  They will be asked to share their assignments in rotational groups with their classmates.

The English Lit class will complete group presentations.  They will begin working on vocabulary using thesaurus.com with the story "Madison Square Arabian Night."


Students in World History will complete computer projects for presentation.  This will include information on the discovery of the computer, parts, and the functions of the computer.  Facilitation done by Mrs. Wright and Ms. Plato.

Students in Healthcare will create charts on people that are obese, normal weight, and anorexic.  Mrs. Wright will have examples prepared to help students.  The class will also have to provide a description or list of things in their assignments on what lead to someone becoming obese, maintaining a normal weight and anorexic.

The students in English Lit will begin reporting on events that have affected the African American community.


Students in Healthcare will continue working on the effects of high blood pressure and diabetes.  We will study demographics and design a chart.


The World history class will complete their reports on computers and post up.

The English Lit class will continue to work on reports.  Mrs. Wright and Ms. Plato will assist and facilitate  students as they work on their reports.


The Healthcare class will begin a unit on high blood pressure and diabetes.  They will learn and understand how one affects the other.  The class will examine lifestyle and dietary habits.  Mrs. Wright will introduce vocabulary along with beginning factual information.


The World History class will complete computer assignments for presentation and posting.  Each student was assigned a portion to contribute eventhough it is a class assignment.

The English Lit class will take their exam on "the Cop and the Anthem."  They will be assigned black history reports on events that have affected our country as African Americans.  This will include notable events such as the "Selma March" and "Hurricane Katrina."  Mrs. Wright will present a demonstration on how the reports need to be completed.

The Healthcare class will complete their reports on the contributions of African Americans in the healthcare field and present.  Presentations will take place Tuesday and Wednesday.


Students in World History will complete their reports in Black history.  Presentations will begin on Tuesday and Wednesday.
