Students in healthcare will continue working on review packet for test on eye diseases.  The class will have assistance from Mrs. Wright and Ms. Plato.  Students will be encouraged to complete the packet and study in groups.

Students in English will complete graphic organizers today on "Ransom of Red Chief."


The Economics class will continue working on individual projects involving their selection of a business that uses the factors of production.

The students in English class will develop graphic organizers that will focus on character, plot  and setting to retell the story of "Ransom of Red Chief."

Students in healthcare will begin receive a packet to work on to prepare for a test on eye health on Thursday or Friday of this week.

The Economics class will begin individual projects on factors of production.  They will select a business and show how that business incorporates the factors.  Students will present their projects on Friday.

The Economics class will continue working on their assignment of describing how the factors of production affect us in the public and private sector of our lives and how it affects us.

Mrs. Wright and Ms. Plato will form two groups in the class and begin reading "the Ransom of Red Chief."  Students will learn literal and inferential comprehension and apply it to the story.  They will also learn the skill of sequencing.


The healthcare class will continue working on their assignment of looking up eye diseases.  They will share their findings in class on Thursday and Friday.

Students in English will be introduced to vocabulary and characters in the short story of "the Ransom of Red Chief."


The students in healthcare class will look up eye diseases, and treatment options.


The Economics class will research what areas the factors of production are used such as state, federal, private and public businesses and describe how each of these institutions uses land, labor, capital or entrepreneurs.

Students in English class will begin working on creating their own newspapers.  This was postponed for a week while students were taught parts of the newspaper.


The healthcare class will be introduced to the kinds of eye doctors that treat patients (optometrists and opthamalogist) for general checkups and deeper eye conditions.


The Economics class will begin their projects on the factors of production.  Students will be required to pick a business and use examples that will be supplied by Mrs. Wright on land, labor, and capital to assist them in putting the information together for presenting.


Each class will have a activator/warmup, assignment and summarizing activity.
