Students in math will continue working on factors.  They will be introduced to square roots.


The science class will begin a wrap up on Thomas Edison.  Test to follow the next week.


The health class will be assigned different oral diseases to research.

Quiz on the first ten Bill of Rights.  We will continue studying amendments 11 - 27.



The English class will continue with main, helping and linking verbs.



Students in art class will continue working on their project.  They will be assigned groups to come up with ideas for the project.

The math class will continue working on factoring and prime factors.


Students in science will continue studying Thomas Edison and what inspired him to become an inventor.



The health class will continue studying the oral diseases that we can have as a result of not taking care of our dental health.

The history class will review the first 10 amendments for a quiz on Thursday.


Students in science class will be introduced to solutes and solvents.  The second portion of the class we will begin to study DNA and RNA.


The art class will begin working on a project that will include the talents of every student in the class.  This presentation will be presented and displayed within the coming weeks.

Students in health class will create their own personal hygiene schedule for a (7) day period.

Students will continue studying amendments 11 - 27.  They will examine how any and all of them affect them as citizens today in 2016.

The math class will continue working with fractions and reducing.  They will be introduced to reducing improper fractions.


Students in science class will continue to study the inventions of Thomas Edison.  We will explore the types of inventions that he created that succeeded as well as those that did not go over well.


The health class will look at the positive and negative aspects of forming certain personal hygiene habits.  (What is the advantage of taking care of yourself??  Disadvantage of neglecting yourself??)

Students will research one invention of Thomas Edison that has evolved.  They will describe the invention and what it is today as a result of his inspired creation.

The health class will continue studying dental hygiene.  The students will create schedules of how they will take care of their teeth.   These schedules will also include trips to the dentist.

The health class will work on activities having to do with oral hygiene.  Students will study the kinds of products that are available for use and how to use them correctly.

The history class will continue working and studying the first ten amendments of the Bill of Rights.   Each student will choose two amendments to research and present to the class.



Students in English class will continue working on helping and main verbs.  They will understand the job of both kinds of verbs.  Assignment to follow.



The art class will be introduced to Latino artists in recognition of Latino American month.  Each student will be asked to choose an artist to research and prepare a presentation.
