G. Wright - March 3

Students in history will continue the study of Women for Women's history month.   We will study women in the fields of medicine, acting, writing, math, engineering, etc.


The science class will complete their DNA models today.


The business class will continue with learning how to tell time using five, fifteen and 30 minute increments.

Students in math will continue working on counting money up to one hundred dollars.


The science class will begin wrapping up assignment on completing their individual DNA models.


The business class will continue working on telling time to the  quarter, half and full hour.

Our history class will begin our study on Women in history as begin Women's history month.


Students in science will continue work on their individual DNA models.


The business class will continue working on telling time.   We will continue learning how to tell time using increments of five minutes.

Students in math class will continue working on counting money.   We will be reviewing knowing the dollar bill and coin denominations to one hundred dollars.


The science class will begin working on developing individual DNA models.   Each student will be required to make one with assistance from Ms. Wright and Ms. Plato.


The business class will continue working on telling time.

Students in history class will complete black history presentations.


The Science class will begin studying material and viewing materials on completing a DNA model.


The business class will begin working on telling time.  Students will work on telling time to the quarter hour, half-hour and whole hour.

G. Wright - Week of February 13 -17

Students in History, English, Math, Science and Electives will present their African American history reports on black people that have made history in the arts, sciences, literature, banking, and inventions during this week as we continue to celebrate the accomplishments of black history.
My students have chosen videos, narrations, drawings as well as a full report that will be handed in following each presentation.

Students in allow classes will complete reports to honor African American history.


Note:   Their reports will be due the week of February 13th.   Each student will be presenting.

Students in math and science will report on African Americans that have made history in both fields.


Note:   They will be allowed to be creative in their presentations to include written reports, narration, videos and art, etc.

The English class will be assigned reports on famous African American writers.


The business class will learn about African Americans that have made history in banking and finance.
