G. Wright - December 4

Students in English, History, and Health will work on completing assignments to be turned in today.  They will have assistance from Mrs. Wright and Ms. Plato.

The English class will begin studying the closing sentence(s) of a paragraph.   Students will work in groups to come up with a paragraph utilizing all (3) parts of the paragraph.


Students in health class will study and analyze ways that we as individuals could possibly prevent the spread of a cold virus.


The history class will work in groups and form projects utilizing the first (10) bill of rights.  Students will be asked to research the amendment they choose and how they feel this particular amendment can be utilized to help our society.  Mrs. Wright will determine with the class when this assignment will be due.

The English class will begin studying the body of  the paragraph.  We will look and discuss examples.  Students will use the examples to begin developing their own paragraphs and using them.


Students in health will begin learning about cures for the common cold.  We will explore home remedies as well as medicines prescribed by a doctor and used over the counter.

The U. S. History class will review the first (10) bill of rights.  We as a class will examine these rights together and understand how people in the U.S. today are utilizing them.  Assignment to follow.

The English class will begin lesson on the paragraph.  They will learn the three parts of the paragraph.  Students will begin working on the "topic sentence."

Students in health will continue lesson on the common cold.  We will study the spread of infection and understanding that it is a virus that is spread by infection.

Students in English class are continuing to work on prepositions.

The Health class will put the finishing touches on their projects for presentations on Tuesday and Wednesday on Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes.

The Economics class will wrap up their research on examples of factors of production using the headings of Natural Resources, Labor, Capital and Entrepreneurship.  Students were asked to research up to 20 examples for each category.
