Students in English will receive a study packet for test on next week for a "A Retrieved Reformation."  Mrs. Wright and Ms. Plato will begin review and assist students in getting started on completing the packet.


The healthcare class will begin a review on personal hygiene to prepare for a test the following week.


The social studies class will begin a review for a test on amendments 11-27 next week.


Note:  Students will also utilize this week to complete missing assignments.

The students in English class will continue studying O'henry's "A Retrieved Reformation."  Students will be asked to do a character study of their choosing.


Students in Healthcare will view a video on proper oral hygiene.  Products will be brought in for demonstration.  The class will explore the health value associated with oral care.   They will also learn what can happen if proper oral care is not practiced.

Students in healthcare will view a video on the proper and healthy hygiene for feet.


The social studies class will begin projects on amendments 11 through 27.  Students will work in groups and present a project based on their interpretation of these amendments.  They will be able to utilize websites, textbooks and posters to assist with their completed presentations.

Students will listen to recorded reading of  O'henry's "A Retrieved Reformation."  Class discussion will be followed by students answering prepared questions.


The healthcare class will view a video on the proper treatment of hands and nails to include cleansing, clipping, and using lotion to preserve those areas.

Students in healthcare will begin a unit on proper hygiene.  The unit will explore cleaning hands, fingernails, face, personal areas and dental care.   Mrs. Wright will share examples of simple products that are out on the market to cleansing, softening, deodorizing.  She will also have examples of how to care for hands and nails and feet that are simple and effective.
