Begin review for Unit test on novel "Call of the Wild."  Students will complete their remaining assignments in preparation.  A study packet will be given on Wednesday.  Test on Friday or Monday.

Retest for some students in U. S. History class on Bill of Rights.

Students will complete healthcare group projects on a profession in healthcare from entry level to a higher position.  Reports will begin on Wednesday.

The U.S. History class will begin to study amendments 15-21.  The class will understand the history behind all of the amendments and why it is important that we have them as U.S. citizens.

Students will make preparation to report on healthcare assignments.

Students in U.S. History will continue with amendments 11-15.  The first (10) will also be reviewed.  The class will also study what would happen if we did not have these amendments as U.S. citizens.

The World History class will continue to study Margaret Thatcher.  Each group in the class will discover what made this woman great as well as historical.

The Healthcare class will begin group projects on particular health fields beginning from entry level and building on those positions from entry level to higher level jobs.  Example:  working as a certified nursing assistant and returning to school to become an LPN and/or RN.

The English Lit class will continue answering questions for the novel "the Call of the Wild" for chapters 1 and 2 to help with comprehension skills.  Students will continue reading through to chapter 5 or 6.  They will continue using the on-line thesaurus to assist with vocabulary development.

Students in U.S. History will present their collages on the first (10) Bill of Rights.  The next (5) amendments will be introduced.

The history classes will also begin to study the life and work of Margaret Thatcher, first female Prime Minister also considered a world leader for World History class.

The Healthcare class will continue to study jobs at entry level.  Students will be required to put together a chart on these jobs listing requirements, field of study, salary and what the future holds for these needed positions.

Test on Bill of Rights in U.S. History.  Students will begin to study the remaining 17 amendments.
