G. Wright - October 23

Students in World History will begin to study the life of Margaret Thatcher.  They will be required to look up facts on this famous woman and share out information in groups about Prime Minister Thatcher.

The U.S. History class will continue to study for their bill of rights test on tomorrow.

Students in English Lit will begin the novel, "The Call of the Wild," by completing an author study.

The United States History class will continue to prepare for test on Friday on the bill of rights.  Each student will develop a collage detailing the bill of rights.  They can use magazines, internet pictures and drawings to demonstrate an aspect of all (10) amendments.  Each student will be asked to present their collage on Friday after their test.

The United States History class will prepare for a test on the first ten amendments, considered the bill of rights on Friday.

Students in Healthcare will begin studying the different jobs at the entry level.  They will be required to find out what the requirements of each job is.  This will include how much education and background are required as well as salary.

"Great Expectations" test moved to today.  The English Lit class will begin reading the novel "The Call of the Wild."

The students in World History will begin studying famous women such as Margaret Thatcher, Indira Ghandi and others that have shaped our world view.

The English Lit class will be tested on "Great Expectations" by this date.

Students in Personal Fitness will also study exercise at home as well as having a membership at a Fitness center.  We will study the benefits of both.

Students in Personal Fitness will study the importance of exercise and understand the benefits such as good heart health, endurance, and life long factors.  They will understand that personal fitness is not just for weight lost, but also for being in a position of positive fitness.

The English Lit class will continue studying and sharing in groups the study guide they have developed for their test on "Great Expectations" before week's end.
